The GoverDENSE team organized a workshop on the governance of densification in the Netherlands. The invited participants consisted of researchers working on densification processes based at Dutch universities. Through this workshop we aimed to share and discuss our preliminary findings of the GoverDENSE project with external researchers, while focusing on the differences and similarities regarding planning for densification between the Netherlands and Switzerland. We look back at a very successful and fruitful workshop and we thank all participants for their time and availability: Edwin Buitelaar, Jip Claassens, Martijn van den Hurk, Erwin van der Krabben and Patrick Witte.
